  • Half Cup uncooked black eye peas, soaked in hot water for 2 hours, drained 
  • Two Cup water 
  • One Can coconut milk 
  • One Cup sugar or palm sugar 
  • Half Teaspoon salt 
  • One Teaspoon pure vanilla extract 
  • Two Cups un cook Jasmine sweet rice, soaked in cold water for 2 hours, rinsed and drained. 
  • Six Pulps fresh or frozen jack fruit, sliced thin strips


Put bruised eye peas and water in a little pot, cook till peas delicate. Pour cooked peas in a colander set a side to depleted. 

Pour coconut drain in a non-stick skillet or wok, stewing till sauce decreased. Include sugar, salt, vanilla concentrate, sticky rice and cooked bruised eyes peas, mixes well.
