Barbecue bacon top meatloaf |
- 1/2 cup chili sauce
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2/3 cup dry bread crumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 3 bacon strips
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
Turn on the oven preheat to 350 degrees.
Fry bacon in to a pan until crispy. Set aside for later.
Get a large bowl. Combine chili sauce, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, onion, cheese, bread crumbs, salt and peper. Stir well. Now crumble ground beef in the mixture. Mix all together well.
Get a slightley greased lo 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in baking dish. Transfer meatloaf onto dish surface. Form to a loaf shape.
Spread barbecue sauce over meatloaf.
Insert meatloaf into the oven. Bake for 1 1/2 hours. Or meat is no longer pink and a meat internal thermometer is 160 degrees.
Add the bacon on top of loaf in a three rows placement.
