Shrimp Soup Peruvian Recipe



  • 1 kilo of deveined
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 chopped tomato without skin or pepas
  • 2 liters fish broth
  • 1/2 cup rice
  • 1/2 kilo of white potato, peeled and cut in half
  • 1 choclo sliced
  • 1 cup green beans
  • 1 cup chopped cabbage
  • 1 cup pumpkin in cubes of 2 cm
  • 1/2 cup chopped huacatay
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 kilo of fresh cheese, crumbled
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Brown the onion in a pan with hot oil, pour Ahi garlic, tomatoes and season with salt and pepper to taste. To end this mixture pour broth and simmer.

Incorporating into that mix the rice and cook for about 5 minutes. Pour immediately potatoes, corn and cook again for 5 minutes. Add beans, cabbage, squash, and huacatay and adjust the seasoning.

Beat egg and add the previous preparation slowly. Add the last four eggs and boil for two minutes. Take the whole shrimp a boil, pour milk, cheese and incorporate adjust the seasoning.
